Well, the time has finally come. After 3 ½ weeks I have finally graduated to having a computer of my own. I can now update this blog from my new email. BTW – if you want my work email send me an email requesting it. So what have I been up to these past 3 weeks? Work wise I have been learning and reading and reading and reading. I haven’t read this much since college. I was also thinking the last time I had a job that didn’t have a computer for that long I was in college delivering pipes to construction workers. I guess that’s government work for ya. Band wise we have had many shows. Our last one was pretty successful. It was a Halloween show where I dressed up like Jimi Hendrix(complete with afro – but no makeup) and played the Star Spangled Banner. It got a standing Oww. I have been more active in my Church as well. I helped out my Sunday school on the local fall festival (replacement for Halloween). Where were those when I was a kid? Basically there is a complete fair inside the church with probably 100 rides and at each ride you get as much candy as you want. My class ran the bubble jet – where kids climb into a big inflatable jet and jump up and down, on me. I must’ve been attacked 20 times. I only lasted a half an hour. For some reason kids don’t respect me. I can say “No” and they look at me and say “No”. Then what? I’m glad I’m not a parent I would have no idea what to do. I guess I could always pretend they obey… maybe..
