The Party Report

On Friday after I went to go work out and was 10 minutes into the treadmill when I decided "screw it, it's my birthday weekend, I'll do what I want." I then decided I was going to have the perfect fast food meal. So I went to McDonald's and got their fries, went to Wendy's and got a chocolate frosty, went to Pizza Hut and got a personal pan pizza and went to Sonic and got a double cheeseburger. That, IMO, is the perfect fast food meal. I couldn't finish it all, but it was a taste explosion, no bite was lacking. I think I was on a food high afterwords. I remember that movie "super size me" where the guy said he had all the signs of a real addiction. I can see that. There's got to be something in the food. Then Mr.T came over and helped clean up for the future party. Then my new band came over and we jammed. On Saturday I took it easy and watched a movie and programmed for that interview I was talking about. Sunday was a big day. I went to Church, Sunday school, and fed the homeless and then took off early from feeding to go to the store and get stuff for my Birthday BBQ Bash. I went all out this time and got rib eye and t-bone steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs. I also restocked my bar, as it had not been in use in months. I became a connoisseur and cooked some very good tasting steaks, it was so much better than the $30 kind you find at your local steak-shop. I stuffed myself with food and had some drinks. I guess I needed to release some "turning 30" tension. I had a blast. We watched "Groundhog Day"(one of my favs) on the projector and then I had some more musicians come over and we jammed till 5am in the morning. I got a little toasty, but it was in my house and I wasn't going anywhere. A lot of Tito's cousins were there. They stayed the latest. The problem was that most of them didn't speak English. I don't know any Spanish, but I did know "me casa, su casa" (my house is your house). Which I guess they took literally, cause they were there till 1pm the next day. I had to hint to them to leave, cause I was having my Sunday School over at 2 for another party. This party was a little more tame. We played skip-bo and trivial pursuit. Then we went to Chilis and I finished the weekend with a very good cheeseburger and their brownie explosion. I am still full today. So I would say I had a very good Birthday. I am glad to have so many friends. I occasionally would overhear the words "manana" from Tito's cousins. That was when I was like,"see, today is manana."

Thought of the Day
"Hey, believe me, baldness will catch on. When the aliens come, who do you think they're gonna relate to? Who do you think's gonna be the first ones getting a tour of the ship?"
- George, in "The Raincoats"

Comments:
You're parties have changed. I used to know 2/3 of the people there. Now, I only know 1/3. I noticed while you were talking to your guests that you still have you're nervous laugh.
