Jet Lag and You or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Airports

This weekend was pretty relaxing. I watched both my teams - TX Tech and the Dallas Cowboys win. That was probably the highlight. I also did the usual church/Sunday School/Homeless stuff. I won't be able to do that for 2 weekends because I'll be in Prague. I currently have a book on how to understand the Czech language. By the time I come back I should be fluent. Dobrey Den, Jak se mate? means "Good Morning, how are you." I think learning the language will be a key in getting their respect. Most do speak English over there though, so if I get something wrong they will be able to tell me. It should be an experience. I am excited, but a little nervous at the whole passport, customs, flying, taxi driving and time zone thing. Once I am in Prague in my hotel I will be able to relax. However they are 7 hours ahead in the time zone arena. I have heard of Jet Lag, but what is it exactly? Is that when your biological clock gets all messed up that you get sick? One person suggested I don't sleep until I have been there 24 hours and can fall asleep at the right time. Another person said to sleep on the plane(although I stop in Toronto before heading over there). Another one said use Red Bull to help me stay awake. I was thinking to start to train myself to go to bed earlier and earlier and eventually I will be on Prague time. Like right now I go to bed at 2am and wake up at 8:30. If I wanted to do Prague time here I would have to go to bed at 7pm and wake up at 1:30am. So I am thinking my objective would be to start to go that way to make it easier. Peety any chance of a wake-up call at 2 in the morning? LOL.

Thought of the Day

Comments:
Our weekend was pretty nice. We basically got the laundry done, cleaned most of the house, and did some relaxing together. The temperature was so nice. We only had to turn the AC on twice. I was very happy to see the Cowboys destroy the Eagles.
Jetlag is when your body is still on it's usual schedule, which is different from where you're currently at. When you get to Prague, you'll have some jet lag. It shouldn't be a big deal, though.
