Best Christmas
Hi everyone,
Brian is still computer-less at the IRS so I'll fill in. He should be doing
the blog again very soon.
Seeing that it's almost Christmas, today I'll talk about what I consider my
best Christmas. It was the Christmas of 1980. My sister woke me up shortly
after 6:00AM to go see what Santa brought for us. I was thrilled to see he
had left me the Millennium Falcon and the snow speeder from Empire Strikes
Back. It seems like yesterday to me, but it was actually 25 years ago. My
sister's main gift from Santa was an 8 track stereo with the Zanadu
soundtrack....that should really date the story. Anyway, I was thrilled
that Santa brought my stuff. Many years later, I found out what "Santa" had
to go through to get the Millennium Falcon. Mom went from store to store in
Wichita Falls trying to find one, but was unsuccessful. To make a long
story short, Dad found one in Denton and picked it up.....2 hour drive for
one ship. Thank goodness for internet shopping.
Everyone have a good Christmas, and please be careful if you're traveling.
Remember to keep Linda in your prayers/thoughts to get well soon.

Any news on Linda??
