Great News - I got a New Job... er Old Job, er.. New Client!

Well, I did it. I am finally taking the plunge. Management Systems Designers gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. I will be taking a 50% raise, form my own corporation and will be working at the IRS again. I will actually be building their Earned Income Tax Credit system that I architected later for a minumim of 1 year. Life is good. I gave my notice this morning right before the company Christmas lunch. It was sad for my coworkers, but they all understood and said I could come back anytime. Friday is my last day here and I get a whole week off next week. I will be forming my own Corporation next week and will be visiting an accountant to get everything squared away. I can't believe I am doing this, I will no longer have a techno-pimp paying me. Matter of fact my own Corporation will be my techno-pimp. All of my ideas can now be implemented with lower risk because it will be a product of my corporation. This is cool. It will be a lot of work in keeping up with paperwork and taxes, but when you work at the IRS there are tax advisors on the first floor. I will have to put up with the bad environment, but for that amount of extra money I am willing to overlook it. So if you hear me complain you have my permission to slap me. You know if it wasn't for a divine intervention I believe I would be out on the streets right now. When I quit the IRS my 2 job offers reneged and I had no where to go, then a day later Nokia gives me an offer. And out of the Nokia job I got to go to Prague and experience a cool paid vacation. And now the exact same day I am notified that my Nokia contract was terminated and bought by another company I have a dinner interview with MSD. Then today, the exact day that my other offer was due(in the afternoon) I get a call from MSD in the morning. I do believe that nothing is by chance and these instances furthers that belief. I also believe that God takes care of those who serve him. So it is an endless cycle of coolness.

Right now everyone is at guys night out and I'm still at work, that sucks...
You know I think you are going to need a VP for the company... (BTW, I am also good at Marketing, Sales, and I do have an experience in consulting)...... Not that I'm looking for a new job (hint hint).. Alright enough begging from me, but I do think I could help you, even from a stand point of just helping you out (possible free labor)...

Send me an e-mail when you get a chance or give me a call (use that fancy phone of yours!!)
