Mr. Biggles in Space

Props go out to Mr.T who is now 31. Man we are getting old. I remember in 7th grade, 17 years ago Mr.T would visit me in the school library and see my latest creation on the computer. Usually it was "Mr. Biggles In Space". I would have a little guy walk around get in a rocket ship and then land on another planet. Then he would walk around and get in a boat and go over a waterfall. Then another planet would fire missiles at his planet and blow it up like star wars. It was always fun to make animations on the ole Apple IIe computer. I remember you only had 7 colors to work with and 228 x 128 pixels to work with. I got good enough to visualize the matrix in my head and I could program a whole animation scene without plotting anything down. That was fun. I would use those skills in science class to make learning software for the teachers. I would have the screen draw different species of animals so the kids could memorize them. It was always fun creating software that someone needed. Although sometimes I did have errors. I seem to remember getting called out of class to fix a software bug. Back then we didn't have the blue screen, we just had a line "SYNTAX ERROR AT 20". Ah, the good ole days.

Thought of the Day
"The greasy doorknob, the constant licking of the fingers. He's hooked on this chicken, isn't he?"
- Jerry, about Kramer, in "The Chicken Roaster"

Comments:
HAPPY B-DAY MR. T!!! Now I don't feel as old since we are all the same age now.

Brian how did the city council thing go this morning? Are the homeless forever in your debt? Saint Brian the Feeder? Defender of the mal-nutritioned of Dallas.

That was from Benz

Props????? Why are we talking like this, G?
Happy birthday, Mr. T. 31 didn't hurt anymore than 30 did...did it?
I never had an Apple computer or any of those other early day computers. My "old" computer story would be when your sister came home from college after her first year. She had a computer and we were introduced to X-wing on PC. Mind you, we didn't have any sound on that PC, but that didn't bother us since we'd never played the game before.
