I am eating a chocolate chip cookie right now. That has to be one of my favorite foods. I remember growing up we would make them from scratch and I would always take a little of the batter. Even at Christmas time I ended up eating some of the cookie dough let for Santa. You snooze you loose big boy. Then when I was about 16 something miraculous happened. They came out with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough(CCCD) Ice Cream. It was like a perfect marriage. Whenever I got the chance I would eat it. I became a cookie dough addict. It got so bad that in college I would buy those Pillsbury cookie dough rolls, put it in my mini-fridge, and nibble off of it for a good while. I was always told when I was a kid "don't eat uncooked dough or you will get sick." Only now do I realize those who said it really were old wives and it really was a tale. I never got sick, then again I guess my CCCD fascination is somewhat of a sickness. They also have these Nestlé's Cookie Ice Cream things that I have on occasion, like yesterday. Basically it is two huge chocolate chip cookies put together with ice cream in the middle. It is good, except a little hard from all of the preservatives they put in it. The key is to let the ice cream melt a little bit to get the cookie softer. Sometimes I wonder how big of a muumuu I am going to end up wearing but then I think to myself "cookies!yum yum yum" and forget what I was saying.
