Shrimp'n Chicken

And now for the weekend update with Brian Bass. This weekend saw a date
on Friday at the "Antares" in downtown Dallas. If you've ever seen the
Dallas skyline you've seen it. The Antares is the big ball in the sky.
Inside this ball is a restaurant that rotates 360 degrees every hour. I
got the steak, she got the salad and shrimp cocktail. We ate dinner as
the sun was setting and looked over the rest of the Dallas skyline. Then
we were going to go to a comedy club but it was sold out so we ended up
going bowling. Saturday I got rid of my sleep deficit by sleeping till
1:30. Then Saturday night I went to a party with Holly and had some kind
of chicken thing at a Mediterranean jazz restaurant called Soho. Holly
had the salad and shrimp cocktail,, hmm a pattern is developing. Sunday
we went to my brother "Grant's" place and hung around with that side of
the family. So they got to meet her. All in all, a very busy weekend.
This Thursday is my company party. Then this next weekend I get to go to
Holly's 10 year reunion and see her old stomping ground. All is good,
all is busy. How was your weekend?

Thought of the Day
"I don't judge a man by the length of his hair or the kind of music he
listens to. Rock was never my bag. But you put on a pair of shoes when
you walk into the New York Public Library, fella."
- Lt. Bookman, in "The Library"

Comments:
Wait a minute. If you've got a work thing on Thursday, then no boys night???
Our weekend was OK. On Friday night, I finished up Vol 3 of Family Guy. The wife and I were so tired from the week that we were both in bed by midnight. On Saturday, My father in law spent the night with us. He spent most of the night playing Max Payne on my Xbox, while I played other games on the computer. on Sunday, my parents, Stacie, Randy, and Evan came over for Fathers day lunch. Last night, I stayed up way too late watching the Mavericks lose. I hope we can pull it together on Tuesday.
