5K

And now for the weekend update. Friday I worked late, stayed home, and watched bad movies. Saturday morning my girlfriend got 1st place in a 5K run for her age group. She won by like 7 minutes, blowing away the competition. I am very proud of her. That afternoon I went to Wichita with her and did a bunch of errands for mom. That night my sleep mask must've fallen off my mouth cause I woke up super tired. I was told I looked like a zombie. Sunday I went to Sunday School and lunch and then came home and fell asleep for like 3 hours. Then I woke up and worked and watched the Cowboy game. We are gonna go to the Super Bowl this year. This week should be filled with work. I am still not sure if we are going to finish in time. Ever seen Gung Ho?

Comments:
Our weekend didn't amount to much. My parents did take our daughter for the weekend. On Friday night, the wife and I had dinner at Red Lobster in Frisco. After that, we went to Super Target and did some boring shopping. For the rest of the night, I started watching season 5 of Smallville, and the wife started watching season 2 of The Office. On Saturday, the wife went with her dad to the farmers market in Dallas. I stayed home and cleaned out our gutters, which was an all day thing. We had dinner at home and didn't do much that evening. I broke out the old Nintendo 64 and played Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron. Those are still fun. Afterwards, we watched Bachelor Party. On Sunday, I met my parents in Decatur to pick up the little one. Last night, I watched Family Guy, and then the Cowboy game. I did discover that a local tv channel (#52) is playing the revamped versions of the orinal Star Trek TV show. There was one on at 9 & 10. I don't know what the actual schedule is (whether it's every night or once a week.) things are pretty dull at work. I'm having a tough time getting back into the swing of things.
