New Years Announcement

I would like to announce to the world the engagement of Brian Bass and Holly Kazeminia! I proposed to Holly on New Years Eve at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Dallas, Texas. It was a beautiful sight. Holly was beautiful and the hotel was decked out in Christmas fashion. I was very nervous of course. I think I told practically everyone I was going to propose. Holly was the last to know. We had a marvelous time dancing the night away to some pretty good bands at the Texas Ballroom. It was a mix of classic rock and country. You may be wondering at some things. First the Santa hat was my way of sneaking a camcorder past Holly. She had arrived that night and had given me a cool one year anniversary clock. I told her she had to wait to midnight to get my gift. I then proceeded to act like the gift was in the Santa hat. Then when she was turned around I handed the camcorder to an innocent bystander and he took the film above. The second thing you may be wondering is about the ring. Does it fit? That is another testimony right there. I did not know Holly's ring size. When I went ring shopping I prayed that God would guide me to one that was made for her. When I was looking at rings I was holding one and felt the Holy Spirit inside of me and I knew without a doubt that was right ring. Then on New Years when she put it on it fit perfectly. I am not sure of those odds, but I would guess it is pretty low. The third thing you may be wondering was, did this go as planned. Well, just like the first New Years when I asked Holly out I got nervous and we both got confused. It happened again, so I guess it went the way it was supposed to. Technically my plan was for both of us to throw the pennies at the same time and then she turn around and I propose. At that moment I really didn't care about those pennies. I just wanted her to say yes and she did! Anyways, I am filled with so much happiness and joy. My cup overfloweth! Right now we have the wedding tentatively scheduled for Saturday August 11th, 2007 at 7pm at Prestonwood Baptist Church. That may change so wait for the invite.

Congrats on the good news. I'll have to wait till I'm home from work to see the video, or whatever my work internet won't play.
Our New Year was pretty uneventful. We mainly played with our new hi-def TV. Today is our first day back at work after the the holidays, so we're playing catch up. Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

It was too eventful! I got a kiss at midnight! I don't know what he's talking about!

Thanks for your help with the tv - it totally rocks! I emailed Holly and told her congrats - can't wait to meet her!
