Reply All

So life goes on. At work in the past two days something funny has been going on. Apparently someone sent an email to the entire division(I think about 10,000 people). It was an ok email but the problem was the people who read it didn't know how to use email. So about 250 people hit the "reply all" feature of email and in turn sent out their reply to the whole division. Such replys like "I am not on this list, please remove me" and "who is this?" and some with kitty cat pictures in their reply to the whole division. Then was a steady stream of people who hit "reply all" to tell people not to hit "reply all". I was tempted to "reply all" to tell the people who wrote about not hitting "reply all" to not hit "reply all". But I didn't. I foresee this going on for weeks....

Thought of the Day
"Will those who reply to all not reply to all about not replying to all.

Comments:
Kind of reminds me of last weeks, "The Office", where Michael sent an inappropriate email/pic to the entire packing deparment, instead of to the intended receiver, Todd Packer. Pretty funny.

I remember I had been with my former company for a little over a week and received an e-mail that said Very Funny and had an attachment on it. I wasn't sure who the person was but it was someone from inside the company and I figured it must have been someone I met but didn't remember. So I click on the attachment and as I did, I noticed that it had a funny extension name (I believe it was .vbs). No sooner than I had clicked on the file my laptop started sending this e-mail to everyone in the company. We started getting calls from all over the country from field guys to other corporate divisions. What a way to start off with the company, especially since I worked in the IT department.
Lots of things have been happening on the personal front ranging from miscarriages, blocked intestines, and family deaths. I will fill all in on guy's night tomorrow night since I will finally get to attend.
