What Year is it?

Well, life is finally back to normal, for now. I was on a stretch of 3 weeks work with only 2 days off. My stress level hit a high point and I got a cold, fatigue and had pink eye, twice. It is so true what they say about the immune system shutting down. Anyway after sleeping for 12 hours straight on Sunday I feel much better. I won’t know if my new system is successful until Friday so wish me luck. So for now please update me on what is happening in the world. Who won American Idol? Is the Apprentice still on? Are bellbottoms still in style? Gotta go, I need a haircut and my car registered and inspected for January. Wow, it's February? When did that happen?

Things are good for us. Jessica's dad was in town this weekend so he took our daughter to his house for Friday night through Sunday Morning. The Wife and I bought a new (expensive) eliptical machine, and spent most of Friday night putting that together. I had to Work Saturday morning , so that was a bummer. Saturday afternoon/evening, we had a date. We had an early dinner around 3PM at Hooters in Frisco. I had forgotten how good that stuff is. Afterwards, we did what every married couple does....go shopping. Luckiy, there was guy stuff to do to keep me entertained. We got home around 9PM and rented some movies. I rented "Click" with Adam Sandler. It started out funny, but got very dramatic. Brian would've hated it. Afterwards, the wife watched one of her movies, and I had to go watch a Smallville to get the "Click" funk off me. Sunday morning , we went to pick up our kido and had lunch. I did watch most of the superbowl, but didn't care much about it either way.

Well I got the Lasik done this weekend! It is great not having to wear glasses!!!! Though I have to say that having the procedure done is fairly unnerving as they are cutting open your eye. But the whole procedure only took about 5 minutes so it didnt bother me to much. The biggest drawback is all the drops I had to put in. They might as well hooked me up to an IV (in this case an "EyeV"). My eyes have had more juices run through since the procedure that I could probably break our drought - I can stop at the end of the week. On Sunday, I went to the churches superbowl party at Studio Movie Grill. It was fun watching the game on such a big screen. The rest of this week is totaly jacked. Last night (tues) I had open house. Tonight, I have a meeting for a mission trip to India. Thursday I wont be at guys night as I have a DallasOne meeting. Geesh is it Friday yet???
