W.U.
And now for the weekend update. First, I know I haven't been posting much recently. I am kind of burnt out on blogging. I know I get visitors from all over the country during the week so that is good. However I have been posting for like 3 years straight - see the archive on the right for old posts - and it is getting a little stale. I have been posting since June 1st, 2004. That is tons of posts. I could've written a bestselling novel. I guess my life has settled down a lot as well. In the next five years I see it becoming more mundane - woke up, went to work, came home, watched TV, went to bed. That kind of stuff. Is it entertaining? Probably not. Like this weekend I went to Holly's on Friday and brought her flowers. Then we went to Chili's, Hastings, came back and watched the Dog Whisperer. On Saturday I had to come in to work. Then in the evening we went to a pot-luck dinner for Sunday school. We ended up at a karaoke bar with her friends. Sunday we did the usual - Sunday school, lunch, homeless and in the evening I went to a baby shower for a friend. So I don't know. It's not exciting. I need to hear from my fans - should I keep blogging?
Thought of the Day
"I can't live knowing Ted Danson makes that much more than me. Who is he?"
"He's somebody."
"What about me?"
"You're nobody."
"Why him? Why not me?"
"He's good, you're not."
"I'm better than him."
"You're worse, much much worse."

Our weekend went pretty well. I took a vacation day on Friday, since our babysitter had to go to the doctor. That night, the wife, kido, and myself went to Frisco and had Chinese food. The rest of the night was like every other Friday night.
On Saturday, we did the usual chores, and I mowed the lawn. We got a babysitter that night, so the wife and I could go out to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We went to Saltgrass for dinner. There was a long line, so we opted to sit in the smoking section, rather than starve to death waiting on something in non smoking. I took one wiff of the air and it was like going home again. The dinner was very good. Afterwards, we looked for something else to do, but no good flicks were showing, so we just went to various shops and got coffee and all that stuff.
Sunday was the usual.
Hmmm...to blog or not to blog. For me, this is my only communication with you 3 guys (with the exception on Thursdays), so of coarse I say keep blogging....but that's up to you. Keep in mind, it doesn't have to be earth shattering stuff.

Well I get to get on here about as rarely as you do (at least where I have time to type). But I would post maybe twice a week instead of thinking of doing it every day...
Weekend:
Friday-I played softball with the sunday school class. We got beat. I felt like I was back in college playing on the nerd team verses the jocks. Every one of their girls had bigger arms than me (of course that is not to hard considereing that I could break in two with a strong wind).
Saturday-did my normal block ministry all day. In the evening I went to Transit (another sunday school group). And then went out to dinner with them.
Sunday-Did the homeless ministry. That night I went to see a musical called Wicked. It was really cool. It was the prequal to the Wixard of Oz. YOu get to learn just why those monkeys had wings, where the tin man, lion, and scare crow came from, and just why the witch was wicked. I highly reccomend going to see it.

Well my weekend was alright. Saturday I played with the kiddo all day and then when the wife came home from school and studying we went to Chuck E. Cheese's. Then I went to my sleep study on Sat. night. You were right Brian it was the worst night of sleep I have had in quite sometime. Normally in a dark room with it being nice and cool I am asleep in less than 5 minutes. After about 2 hrs of tossing and turning the lady comes in and says, "Is there anything I can do to help you get to sleep (NOW GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER) anything like a sleeping pill. Eventually I fell asleep and I swear that once I fell asleep she was waking me up at 5:05 am and said it's all done. So now I'm tired and droggy. I gewt home around 6 am and sleep till 9:30 (thank goodness the kiddo slept in). I got up with him and then the wife finally got up around 1:00 pm. So she goes out to study Calculus 2 stuff and the kiddo and I laid around watching Spongebob Squarepants most of the day. Then he and I lay down for a nap at like 5 pm (not a good thing) and we sleep till about 8 pm when the wife came home from studying and she is like oh you got him to bed early and I was like nope we've been napping. So we get up and eat dinner and the kiddo proceeds to stay up til 1 am (and I wonder why I don't get sleep).
On a side note: It's good to see Mr. T, Peety, and I all posting on one post since it doesn't ahppen that often anymore. So keep blogging Brian, even if it is crazy stuff from the past like mowing the lawn at 3 am (that was pretty funny especially since we almost had it done).
