A Wedding Story Part 4

After we walked down the aisle we hung out in the backroom waiting for
all 11 people to finish walking. We did hear later that the ring
bearer ran down the aisle and people chuckled. After a little round of
handshakes we were told to go back in for pictures. When we were there
it seemed to take forever as the photographer positioned 22 people to
take their picture. Eventually after 45 minutes I pulled the car
around and Holly put her and her dress in the car. When we got to the
hotel we were introduced by the MC and ecveryone clapped. Then the
hand shaking, back patting, hugging, catching up, and introducing
began. That lasted the whole night. I think I had a smile plastered on
my face the whole time. I was extremely happy and I was having fun. I
kept on saying "yeah Holly, she's amazing." There were so many people
the I didn't have time to catch up to them all. I am sure I didn't
even get to talk to some people. I had told a bunch of people I was
going to get on stage and play guitar so people waited to see it. It
was a very late reception I think it was 11 pm by the time we cut the
cake. The band "The Grooves" was the best wedding band I had ever
heard. People started off shy but eventually they packed the dance
floor. I had restrung my guitar earlier so when I got onstage I
noticed it was out of tune. So I took some time and eventually it was
in tune. I then qent through somestories about how the songs came to
be and played them. Holly gave me a standing ovation and I had fun
playing for her. Eventually I am going to post the media so stay tuned
for that. We ended the reception by getting into my car and driving
around as the group threw confetti at us. It was a good time. I will
always remember it. Who knows what is next for us....
