So this weekend was busy. Friday Holly and I visited with her college
friends, then we went to game night with our Sunday school class.
Saturday morning started with the month of festivals. This time I
wasn't really invited but I figured I'd hand out cards anyways. I
kinda felt a little shy but then I got over it, stood by a booth,
grabbed a handful of cards and as people walked by I would say "card?"
and some would take it. I had a couple of conversations as well. I
look at this as getting ready for the big day in LA. That night Holly
and I went to the Shriner Circus where they had an elephant that could
do a handstand. We gave food at the homeless on Sunday and then
stopped by the deep ellum arts festival where I heard a really good
band play. Some news, it looks like I am going to have my first
radio interview on a show called Car Concerns that plays in Tennesee.
It might be syndicated as well. I also had an interview on Friday with
a freelance writer who writes for the weather channel website. Stay
