Summertime
Ah summertime is starting. This summer there are many movies coming
out that should be good. Indiana Jones is at the top of the list. Then
the Hulk, Batman, Narnia, Iron Man, Eyebot, and I am sure there are
others. Movie tickets are at $10 now. I remember when it was $3.25 for
the longest time. Popcorn is getting up there too. Now it is quite
easy for Holly and I to spend $30 going to the movies. I foresee this
summer being bad financially for the theaters, with high prices and
high gas prices causing people to stay home and rent movies using
Blockbuster instead of their local theater. And I am not saying this
because Blockbuster is promoting my site internally...

How could people get to the theater with burning lots of costly fuel? I've got it, they could carpool!!!!! That's right folks. You can sign up at Rideshare.com and carpool to your favorite movies. Blockbuster even endorses it. I saw their check with my own eyes.
Movies are getting expensive. We saw, "What happens in Vegas" over the weekend, and the whole deal was about $30.00. The snacks are usually as much as the tickets.
