Well, everyone is talking about the hurricane coming. Really in Dallas it is about the Houstonians coming. We can expect a surge in traffic. You know sometimes I wonder if the media and weather stations have some kind of agreement on disaster exploitation. Yesterday they were all like "a category 3 is coming, a category 3 is coming" now the media is like "ok, a category 2 is coming, wait it could be a category 1 at landfall, wait the wind isn't what matters, it is the storm surge." I even put up a section on RideSearch so that people who want to evacuate who don't have a car can post their rides. I'm starting to realize that I need to make sure people know about RideSearch for any event where people need a ride. I'll probably put up a notice for people who want to vote who need a ride. It isn't exploitation as much as a public service, since I make no money from it, which is why on Monday I will release my resume to the world. Old Geraldo is funny, ever since he got a broken nose in the 80s he's been trying to put himself right in the path of disasters. Like right now he got up to a wave and purposely fell over and was like,"ah look at mee, hurricane,,ahh" then he got up, then the video got put on youtube. So we shall see. Yup it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Better "hunker down" yee haw.
