This weekend we hung around the house. I took care of Brennon on Saturday and Holly went and visited her mom who is recoupering quite nicely. Saturday night I watched the Cowboys play. It looks like they still have problems tackling. Romo also looks like he is having a hard time being on target. I hope the Cowboys are just pretending to be bad this preseason. Hopefully they will show up when the real season begins.

Brennon has officially taken some steps. I saw him take one step on Saturday. When you try to walk with him and let go he knows what you are trying to do and he goes limp. I think he has some of the Bass stubbornness in him. He chooses to crawl even though he knows how to walk. I think though I can trick him into crawling. More tests. He turns one next month.

Sunday I slept in. I think it takes alot of effort to get the baby ready to go to church and then it is a long day for him as well. Even though I didn't go to church I have always had it inside of me. I did go by mom's to her church service in the afternoon. Church at 2pm is pretty good. Although, this time something happened. The Prestonwood minister did not show up. As they were all looking I felt compelled to get up and give a message. I have all of the ones I did for the homeless on my iPhone. It was one of those times that you just let God take over. I think it was good cause I got alot of claps at the end. Anyways, you never know when you will be called to do something. So I felt good about it at the end. Life is good.
